The Special Investigation Unit's philosophy is to get boots on the ground. Because we're still small, we can respond swiftly to a crisis as soon we become aware of it. As an organization grows, it has to delegate responsibility or obtain authorization from above. It loses the ability to adapt. And demons aren't gracious enough to wait for us to catch up...

Our Field Leader is decisive and quick to grasp a situation. They also aren't set in their ways and know how to draw out the strengths of those around them. People like this are the cornerstone of any organization. I shouldn't say this in front of them, but I'm stunned that someone else hadn't already snapped them up. They're not exactly a head-turner, I suppose.

I guess this is a good a chance as any to say it. Field Leader, you're the only one who can keep the SIU together. People will try to headhunt you, but don't give them an inch. Don't even hint that you're interested. Stay by my side, all right? That's a promise, you hear me?
